Privacy Policy

Effective July 20, 2026

Your trading data is personal. Tradesistency is built to help you understand your behavior, not to exploit your information. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have — wherever in the world you use the service.

1. Who we are

Tradesistency (“Tradesistency,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a discipline-first trading tracker and educational platform. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at Hello@Tradesistency.com.

Tradesistency is a journaling, accountability, and education tool. It is not a broker, exchange, prop firm, investment adviser, or signal service, and it does not execute trades or hold funds.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account information. Your email address and authentication identifiers, managed through our authentication provider, plus optional profile details such as a display name.
  • Content you create. Trades you log, rules and challenges you set, reflections and notes you write, and screenshots or CSV files you upload as proof.
  • Usage and device data. Access logs (pages viewed, timestamps, IP address), device and browser information, and preferences we store locally in your browser.
  • Support communications. Messages you send through the in-app Support Desk or by email.

We do not knowingly collect government IDs, full financial-account numbers, or brokerage credentials, and we ask that you not submit them.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • provide, maintain, and secure the platform and your account;
  • calculate consistency, rule adherence, fees, and other analytics you ask us to track;
  • generate optional AI trade reports and coaching feedback when you request them;
  • respond to support requests and send service-related notices;
  • detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your trade data to train third-party AI models for purposes unrelated to serving you.

4. Legal bases (EU/UK and similar regions)

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or comparable laws apply, we process personal data on these bases: performance of our contract with you (to provide the service), your consent (for optional features such as marketing email), our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the platform), and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

5. Service providers and sharing

We share data only with vendors that help us operate the service, under contracts that require them to protect it. These currently include providers for authentication, database and file storage, cloud hosting and content delivery, delayed market data, and optional AI report generation. We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety. If we are ever involved in a merger or acquisition, data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Some providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers.

6. Screenshots and proof files

Screenshots and files you upload as trade proof are stored in private storage and are not publicly accessible. Only you and, where strictly necessary, authorized personnel acting on your support request or on a legal obligation may access them. Please avoid uploading images that contain sensitive personal information you do not want stored.

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After you delete your account, we remove or de-identify personal data within a commercially reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, security, or accounting obligations.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Residents of the EU/UK (GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), and other regions with comparable laws have these or similar rights, and we honor verified requests regardless of where you live. We do not discriminate against you for exercising them. To make a request, contact Hello@Tradesistency.com.

9. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as your theme and layout. We do not use advertising trackers. You can clear this data through your browser, though some features may not work correctly without it.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, private storage, and server-side authorization — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of material incidents as required by law.

11. Children

Tradesistency is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and the law evolve. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
